Common Questions
What's included in the monthly hours?
Anything the roles listed on the tier would do: new features, page edits, copy changes, integrations, bug fixes, performance tuning, design updates, marketing ops, campaign work. Hours don't roll over month to month, but we're flexible — if you need 12 hours in a launch month and 4 the next, we work with it. What's not included: brand-new full-site rebuilds or major feature builds that sit outside the tier's scope — those scope separately (or escalate to Flagship where the scope is open).
What's different about Flagship vs Enterprise?
Enterprise is a packaged retainer — website + portal + dashboard + 36 hrs/mo to maintain and expand them. The scope is defined. Flagship is an open-ended build contract: you bring the roadmap (internal tools, customer-facing apps, AI agents, data pipelines, API integrations — whatever you're building), we ship it. 80 hrs/mo across five senior roles. Most importantly: you own every line of code. We transfer to your GitHub at the end of every build cycle — no licensing, no lock-in. If you walked away after month six, you keep everything we've built.
Do I own the code?
You own the code on every one-time build and on Flagship. On monthly plans your site is licensed to you while your plan is active, with full ownership transfer available on request. You always own your content and brand, and on Flagship the code lands in your GitHub at the end of every build cycle.
What happens after the minimum contract term ends?
You convert to month-to-month at the same monthly rate with 30 days notice (Flagship: 30 days; other tiers: 30 days). Most clients stay because their business keeps evolving.
Can I upgrade tiers mid-contract?
Yes. We credit your remaining contract value toward the new tier. Most Essentials clients move to Growth within 12 months once they see the retainer work pay off.
What about à la carte — do I need a package?
No. À la carte is for when you need a specific thing built once — a landing page, a chatbot, a Shopify store, a logo. Fixed price, fixed scope, no contract. If you later want ongoing support, the à la carte cost credits toward your first monthly package invoice.
What if something breaks after launch?
Every launch includes a 30-day defect-fix window — anything that doesn't work as scoped gets fixed free. After that, bug fixes come out of your monthly retainer hours. Response SLA: 4-hour priority on Enterprise + Flagship, <1 business day on Essentials + Growth.
How does billing work?
Monthly plans bill on the same date each month via Stripe (ACH or card). No setup fees. Contract term is the minimum; after that, month-to-month. À la carte builds are paid in full at checkout — the price on the card is the price Stripe charges.
